Our lifetime of experiences has lead us to believe things about those experiences which may or may not be true. Every time we’ve had an experience we’ve thought and said things about that experience. Our subconscious mind hears and believes everything we think and say. Our subconscious mind dictates our actions. That is why it is important to focus on good and beautiful things, rather than negative things. Not knowing this has filled our subconscious mind with beliefs that make us act our beliefs out in life, which is why we may feel like we are stuck in a rut in certain aspects in life. If we believe we can’t find love or we will always be poor, we most likely will experience this.
The good news is that we can change our negative beliefs. There is no need to root out all of our negative beliefs. All we need to to is begin to tell our subconscious mind what we want to experience. Sounds easy, right? It is, but reprogramming doesn’t happen overnight. We have a lifetime of beliefs that will take repetitive effort in changing them. We need to repeat what we want to experience daily. This can be done with affirmations, daydreaming and feeling how it would be to have what we want, vision boards, art around your home and more. We have to override the negative thoughts, programming and beliefs and it takes consistent effort.
I used to think of myself as a positive thinker until I really started listening to my thoughts. I had negative thoughts about my job, my love life, living in poverty, the state of the world and more that I didn’t realize I was thinking. I am convinced this is why I have been stuck in a rut in these areas and I now work at changing these thoughts as much as possible. I repeat affirmations, listen to audio books on the subject, imagine how my life will be when these things change, listen to affirmations as I sleep, look for the good in everything. It is not perfect and I still catch myself going negative, but when I do, I tell myself to stop and focus on the positive belief that I want. I’ve been practicing this daily for about 2 months and have experienced positive results that show that I’m on my way to a better life. I’ve heard that it takes at least a month to reprogram beliefs. The more that time goes on, the better I get.
All that said, I’ve been inspired to start blog posts with affirmations and more to help others change their life for the better. I believe it is the way to a better world… maybe even heaven on earth. Joe Dispenza has said that many of the people in his community have healed major illnesses through meditation and positive thinking.
Today’s subject is prosperity and here are some prosperity affirmations. Listen to your thoughts about prosperity and if you catch yourself with a negative thought, try to change it around to a positive, or what you do want and repeat it when you can.
