Made these and they are definitely chewy and delicious
1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
½ cup melted butter
2 cups white sugar
2 eggs
¼ teaspoon salt
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
⅓ cup confectioners’ sugar for decoration
Directions
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Line one 9×13 inch pan with greased parchment paper.
Combine the cocoa, melted butter, sugar, eggs, salt , flour and vanilla. Mix until well combined. It should be very thick and sticky.
Spread mixture into the prepared pan. Bake at 300 degrees F (150 degrees C) for 30 minutes. Cool completely before cutting into squares.

Here are a few of the products available with my art printed on them (by clicking an item you like, it will take you to the page where it’s available). They’d make great gifts to yourself or someone you love and would help support my dream of becoming a full-time writer and artist. Any purchase would be SO appreciated, but if you don’t want to or can’t, that’s totally fine. Just stopping by and reading my blog is a huge support.
The pandemic brought a lot of awareness to me about climate change, food shortages, how quickly our hospitals could colapse and more. This has sent me on a mission of becoming self-sustainable, empowered and working to help heal the earth. That is what the focus of this blog has become. The main way I'm working at this is through building a food forest and documenting as much as possible in hopes to inspire others. The more of us that do this, the more it will help heal the earth. When we buy produce from the grocery store, it was grown through monoculture, and that leads to use of chemicals that goes onto our food and into our planet, destroying soil. If we grow our own through permaculture (a food forest), we give the soil health. We also give ourselves health by growing organic foods and herbs that contribute to our health. There's a lot more to this, but this touches the surface. I'm only one year into this but my food forest is growing. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.

Perfect recipe, Monica! Nothing like chewy, gooey brownies to put one in such a good mood.
That chocolate really triggers the endorphins, too. It’s true – look it up!

Oh, I couldn’t resist a really lame joke. Two weeks later, to boot.
Han spotted a plate with a sign, “Chewie Brownies.”
Turns out, it actually read, “Chewie’s Brownies.”
Han will read more carefully the next time, because the last thing anyone needs is a furious Wookie.
See, told you it was lame.
