Whimsical Curvy Mermaid Abstract Art and Mermaid Symbolism

I made a curvy, bigger variation of a mermaid because it’s very sad that much of society labels bigger women as ‘not as sexy or pretty’ as thinner women. I really can’t figure out why so many people are so shallow and judge someone on their looks, size, color, age or whatever rather than the person as a whole. This isn’t a rant because someone hurt my feelings (although, I’ve experienced it in the past) – it’s just something I’ve felt for many years. We need more love, kindness, compassion and acceptance in the world.

Mermaids can symbolize rebirth, renewal, a change in life, independence, headstrongness playfulness, mischievousness, feminine energy, sacred femininity, good luck, wisdom, insight the soul, emotional intuition and dual personalities.

I created this art in a digital art program freehand with a mouse using layers of my own abstract art, scrapping other versions, re-doing things in a different way, etc., until I got a look I like.

I personally like Walgreens because they have sales often. You can even print it on your own printer so there is no additional cost. It’s very simple to get the image printed on products online. Just go to your preferred printing site, choose the item you want to have the art printed on, then upload the image and make the purchase. As you can imagine, this opens up a lot of home decor and gift options.

There may be a rare occasion that I am unable to send within 24 hours but if that happens, I will send you an e-mail telling you the circumstances and when I will be able to send it (this may happen if I am on vacation or an emergency happens for example).
