There is definitely a need to do this. I did a social media “fast” once. As intentional as any other fast. It’s was cleansing. 😉

Yes! Last year, before COVID hit us, I took the plunge and got rid of all my social media. It felt odd at first, took some getting used to – it’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made! I feel like I do more worthwhile things with my time. I’m not exposed to toxic attitudes or reminders of things that depress me. Plus, it just makes you feel untethered and free.

Same here. Life got really busy for me so I lost track with Facebook and never went back because I find I’m doing a lot more meaningful things rather than wasting my time scrolling and getting distracted by many different things that I don’t even really care about.
